About Lights Out Recap

What we do

Lights Out Recap publishes a full race recap within 12 hours of every Grand Prix. Each one has the results, the stats that decided the race and the story behind them. Between races we publish previews, tech explainers and driver features, and we keep the championship standings and season calendar up to date.

How recaps are made

Results, timing and standings come from the official session classifications and are processed automatically as soon as they are published. A human editor then writes the story of the race and checks every number before publishing. When results change after a race, for example because of a stewards' penalty, we update the recap and its "Updated" date.

Editorial standards

Every number on the site comes from the official classification. Opinion and analysis are clearly labelled.
We don't publish rumours as fact, and we don't invent quotes.
Headlines have to match what the article says.
Affiliate links and sponsored content will always be disclosed.

Corrections

Spotted a mistake? Message us on X. We correct factual errors quickly and note significant corrections at the end of the article.
